Dear Marie:
How are you? You haven't forgotten me yet have you?
How are you getting along in school and who is your teacher this year?
By the time this reaches you it will be past your Birthday

so let me wish you a very happy birth day right now.
Write me a little letter one of these days and tell me what you are doing.
We haven't got a little dog have we? Some day when I come home again I'm going to bring one.
You still like puppies don't you?
The North wind will start blowing again one of these

days and then the snow will start to fall. Where I am now we never have winter at all. It is always summertime. I often wish I could see a little snow.
Next month we are going to Japan again - that is where I got this stationary - just for the ones I love best.
    So, dear little

sister I will close with lots of love and kisses and hope to hear from you sometime.
Affectionately Your big brother Bill.
P.S. Give one of the kisses to Martha for me, will you please and one to Mom. Love Bill
