My sister Martha Lucinda Ling Crone Jansz and cousin Penny Jansz, Went to Holland in the late 90's and visited with relatives in Oude Wetering. This is a letter from Henk Verbeek. He mentions Willem Christiaan Pieter Jansz as the Great Grandfather of ours and an incident that occured around 1915. Well, this could not have been WCP I as he died in 1913. So, it was WCP II, our great uncle... apparently not so great. Sister Martha also has a story about this visit that she will share soon. Mr. Verbeek was a young man walking his dog and the first person they found who spoke English.
